  • Responsible for the supervision of all financial activities
  • Review financial statements and monthly closings and demonstrate understanding of results and financial analysis
  • In charge of the budgets and forecasts (including variances analysis) in consultation with management
  • Act as point of contact for third-party advisors (banks, auditors, insurance brokers, tax and accounting consultants)
  • Actively look to optimize processes for all departments to recommend and implement more efficient and effective solutions
  • Responsible for the monthly reporting to the management and Board of Directors
  • Partaking in ad hoc strategic projects (fundraising plans etc.)

Skills & Experience

  • Master degree in Finance / Business Administration / Economics
  • 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an international technology scale-up
  • Highly organized and with the ability to independently take on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a clear sense of priorities and targets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Ability to meet and establish deadlines
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in technology
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
