Job description

We are looking for a senior solutions / customer engineer to support our expansion into the telecommunications domain. If you have experience designing solutions that involve OSS / BSS integration, are proficient in business process modeling and feel excited to support CSPs in their digital transformation journey, reach out to us today!


  • Work together with our customers to analyze their use cases and map them to the capabilities of the Waylay platform.
  • Identify potential implementation gaps and address them internally with the CTO and the R&D team in order to provide the customer with reliable solutions or alternatives.
  • Define the implementation strategy around the customer SoW and work together with the PS team to estimate the necessary effort and delivery timeline.
  • As part of and together with the professional services team, implement the customer use cases on the Waylay platform.
  • Work with the customer during the implementation, testing and acceptance of the use cases.
  • Define a simple and repeatable end-to-end process of delivering automation solutions to CSPs and MNOs when OSS/BSS integration is involved.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience using business process modeling (BPM) platforms to automate processes in the B/OSS domain (e.g. Camunda BPM).
  • Experienced with RESTful API integrations.
  • Experienced reading and writing Swagger / OpenAPI specifications.
  • Familiar with JavaScript / Node.js.
  • Comfortable with customer facing activities related to SoW clarification, use case design (HLD and LLD), implementation, testing, and delivery.
  • Autonomous and proactive in searching solutions to customer problems.
  • Going beyond complexity into delivering the simplest refined solution that works.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (documents, presentations).
