We’re looking for a Junior Integration Specialist to join our team and help integrate our general-purpose automation platform into customer environments.

Job description

You’ll work with clients, partners, and internal teams to implement solutions that enable automation across diverse systems using APIs, data pipelines, and custom workflows.

This role is ideal for someone with foundational programming skills in JavaScript and Python, a passion for automation, and a strong interest in learning how complex systems talk to each other.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and integration of the automation platform in customer environments (cloud and on-prem).
  • Develop scripts and small modules in JavaScript (Node.js) and Python to enable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
  • Integrate with third-party systems via APIs (REST, Webhooks, MQTT, etc.).
  • Collaborate with solution architects and senior engineers to translate requirements into working integrations.
  • Configure automation workflows using the platform’s visual or code-based tools.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and assist with testing and validation.
  • Document integration logic and best practices for internal and customer use.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with JavaScript (Node.js) and Python.
  • Understanding of APIs (REST, JSON) and how to work with them.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with Git and version control practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow into a more senior technical role.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to automation or orchestration platforms
  • Experience with messaging protocols (MQTT, Kafka).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Prior experience integrating systems in an IoT, telecom, or industrial environment.
